Volunteer With Abiding
Becoming a hospice volunteer is a deeply rewarding experience. You’ll be part of a compassionate team dedicated to helping others find peace, dignity, and support. Volunteers help bridge the gap between medical care and human connection by bringing light, laughter, and love into homes and hearts across our community.

Ways to Volunteer
We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities to match your interests and schedule:
- Patient & Family Support
Spend time with patients through companionship visits, reading, music, or simply sitting quietly together.
- Administrative Support
Assist with clerical work, phone calls, mailings, and special projects that help our office run smoothly and allow our care teams to focus on patients.
- Community Outreach & Events
Help with fundraising events, educational programs, and outreach initiatives that bring awareness to hospice care and connect us with our community.
- Special Talents & Services
Use your unique gifts — whether it’s music, art, crafting, pet therapy, or photography — to bring joy and comfort to patients and families.
